The tour follows the band’s triumphant return to Wembley Stadium. It kicks off in Manchester on March 16 and will make stops in Dublin, Glasgow and Liverpool among other cities. The band recently recorded their first new album in thirteen years entitled WHO. It is due out on November 22.
The eleven-track album was primarily recorded in London and Los Angeles on Spring and Summer 2019. Furthermore it was co-produced by Pete Townshend & D. Sardy, with vocal production by Dave Eringa (Manic Street Preachers, Roger Daltrey, Wilko Johnson).
Likewise Singer Roger Daltrey and guitarist and songwriter Pete Townshend join long-time Who drummer Zak Starkey, bassist Pino Palladino along with contributions from Simon Townshend, Benmont Tench, Carla Azar, Joey Waronker and Gordon Giltrap.
As you probably know, in the 50 years the band sold over 100 million records world including 9 US & 10 UK top ten albums. Likewise, they have 14 UK top ten singles in a career spanning six decades.
